A Free Man?

A FREE MAN is a person who is free to choose the way he lives his life according to his own principles -- without threat from government.
Free-market capitalism recognizes freedoms such as speech, right to bear arms, of the press, trial-by-jury, and others as unalienable.

I'm Rachel Freeman, a sophomore at Troy University majoring in Economics, who wants to persuade people that the ideas of free market capitalism are the key to the pursuit of happiness and encourage action to achieve liberty.

Most recently, I co-authored an opinion-editorial with Dr. Daniel J. Smith, assistant professor of Economics at Troy University, that was published on AL.com: Income Inequality May Actually Be Good News

One day I hope to do research and write for a think tank such as Alabama Policy Institute (of my native state.) There, my goal is to educate and change minds about economics and policy issues.
